Jean Marie’s background includes Customer Strategy, Product, and Sales & Business Development at Fortune 500 companies and startups, with expertise in emerging technology and Financial Services.
At NOW Corp, Jean Marie is on the Executive Team and is responsible for the Financial Institution Group and driving expansion of partnerships and transaction volume.
Prior to joining NOW Corp Jean Marie was Vice President of Business-to-Business Commercial Acceptance at MasterCard, where she grew a B2B Supplier Enablement program to more than $1 Billion GDV (Gross Dollar Volume) working with financial institutions and enterprises.
Prior to MasterCard, Jean Marie served as Vice President, Sales and Account Development, at Acculynk, where she developed and managed a sales strategy and team focused on enterprises and new markets, including facilitators, online merchants and marketplaces. There she grew year-over-year sales 200% for payments and mobile/online commerce solutions.
At Oracle, Jean Marie managed a mobile initiative for innovative products and spearheaded the acquisition of a mobile platform company. She managed the acquisition, delivering 180 converted customers and $6 Million in new sales. Post-acquisition she managed the product development team and led go to market launch of the new mobile CRM products with Citibank and Konica. Larry Ellison, Oracle CEO and Chairman, showcased the product at Oracle Open World conference for 42,000 attendees.
She was Awarded the National Federation of Independent Business’ first “Young Entrepreneur Award” for East Coast Enterprises, a business she Co-Founded, which provided exclusive dining and entertainment offers in the Golden Isles.
Jean Marie graduated from Georgia Tech, Cum Laude and a President’s Scholar. At Tech she serves on the Ernest Scheller Jr. College of Business Advisory Board, as well as the Georgia Tech Dean’s Scholarship Council, and she enjoys guest lecturing on payments and ecommerce for Georgia Tech’s MBA program. She also has been a featured speaker on payments and financial services at national conferences.
Jean Marie resides in Atlanta with her husband, Hap Richardson, where she is a member of the Habersham Garden Club and volunteers for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
